What is Starttaamo

Starttaamo is a community run by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. It consists of a common space to meet, discuss and support startup culture and growth ventures. Starttaamo is famous for its various events tailored to suit the needs of its members and the local startup scene  in general.

Why should you join

Starttaamo offers a place to hangout, organize business meetings, meet other entrepreneurs and interesting people, plan and organize events and work on your idea. Starttaamo also has a mentor program and can suggest contacts to funders, subcontractors or any other possible collaborator. Starttaamo also offers its members various members-only services which you can ask more from Teemu Polo, the Starttaamo ry Chairman – these services change from time to time.

Starttaamo actively organizes events related to startup culture and entrepreneurship and to anything related to technology. You have a chance to effect the events and participate in them. As a member most events are free, and we also organize events to members only.

Who is behind this

Starttaamo has been formed by a number of high growth startups from Oulu region. Many of the companies work at or close by to Starttaamo premises at Nahkatehtaankatu 2, Oulu. We wanted a place and community, run by entrepreneurs, to work and network for mutual benefit.
